Jim joined Next Generation Construction in 2022 and serves as Superintendent. With over 40 years of experience in construction, he is a well-rounded Master of Construction with a specialization in HVAC from pipefitting to sheet metal to anything that involves heating or cooling an area. Jim serves as the general, molding the onsite operations, to fit the offsite intent of the project manager, architect, and owners.
During his career, he has been involved in projects with some of the premier companies within the commercial, higher education, industrial, and healthcare industries. Jim’s lengthy career began by graduating from Fairport high school, after which he went into vocational training, to follow in his father’s footsteps, as a Union Ironworker.
Jim’s dad saw his potential and had other plans, pushing him into the pipefitter’s world. His experience goes beyond pipefitting, as he has also worked in metal fabrication and machining shops. Along with being the previous owner of a landscaping, hardscape, and maintenance company Jim brings all his wealth of knowledge to Next Gen to help them continue to grow and develop. In his spare time, he enjoys shooting sporting clays and spending time with his wife, Maryellen.
